Hi!

My name is Jess, and I would like to take a moment to welcome you to The Counselling and Psychotherapy Harbour.

A safe Harbour for you to bring your whole self. A place where you will be met with compassion, empathy and acceptance. A place where you can be heard and valued for who you are and the unique life experiences you bring. I believe that having a safe harbour to express the unexpressed, connect to the disconnected and feel the unfelt is at the heart of healing our inner wounds.

As human beings we all go through times of challenge. Life can be messy and complicated. This may be a situation that has unexpectedly arose, an ongoing difficulty preventing you from living the life you choose or unresolved trauma that is influencing you in the present. Counselling and Psychotherapy is an opportunity to explore these matters with a professional who can assist you to gain insights into what is happening for you.

Therapy is often the first step towards understanding ourselves and the root cause of our distress. The experiences we have had often lead us to develop patterns of behaviour. These patterns often influence the way we relate to ourselves, the world and the people around us. Once we can understand why we respond the way we do, it is often easier to process feelings, foster self compassion and build coping strategies that work for you.

My name is Jess. I am an integrative psychotherapist, and I would like to offer you a warm welcome to The Counselling and Psychotherapy Harbour.

I utilise a integrative approach to my therapy services. This involves bringing together and utilising various elements of different therapies throughout someone’s counselling journey.
